UPDATE May 20,2015: Lady's mom Hailey was adopted!!! Lady is still at the shelter waiting for you.
Lady: Big Older sweetie who knows how to wiggle,sleep, and execute perfect housebreaking skills no matter how long she has to hold it! At 8 years old, Lady does not deserve to be living in a city shelter especially because she lived her whole life with a family until they lost their home and left her at our shelter. She came in with her 10 year old mamma, Hailey, and we make sure they both get to spend lots of time together romping in our fenced in yard and snoozing together in our training room.
Lady prefers to only share her space with her mom and cannot live with any other animals and although we would love to place the two girls together in one home (they are very easy together and require little exercise, are non-destructive, are very affectionate and happy together), we know that Lady would be happy being adopted alone because she loves hanging out with volunteers as much as possible. She has some years on her but can be very playful with her toys which is adorable to see and she is very attentive to her humans and listens to commands very well!
She has so much love to give and will not need much else than being taken out a few times for a little fresh air and potty time and then is content hanging out relaxing..please watch our many videos of both Lady and her mamma Hailey that we post on Facebook and you will see how much our volunteers love her and the feeling is mutual. Do you like a more mellow bigger dog? Lady is your gal!
