Chunk's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Chunk's Story...
Chunk is anything but chunky now. He and his brothers were rescued from a high kill shelter before euthanization. As a baby, Chunk was a pig and growled at his brothers trying to get to the food, he was a good half a pound bigger then his siblings. As he has gotten older, his brothers have caught up and he is the average size for his age. Chunk has a cute, adorable face. He gives the funniest looks. He has an under bite that causes him more often then not, to forget to put his tongue back in his mouth. He is seen most of the time with his tongue sticking out. He is a bit shy, but does love to snuggle. He has beautiful soft black fur. This young man just needs another chance. He had a twin brother who was adopted, now it is his turn!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chunk, a McKinney Bombay cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bombay for sale in McKinney, or seeking a Bombay cat from a breeder in McKinney.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in McKinney already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a McKinney breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bombay breeders who help with Bombay rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in McKinney paves the way for another one to be saved.
