I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, and declawed.

Genny was originally rescued from a high kill shelter where she had been owner surrendered because her owners were moving and could not take her. She was adopted by a wonderful lady who loves her dearly; however, her other two cats are not happy with the third so Genny is now looking for another home where she can be queen. She is a fabulous cat and very outgoing. She does get along with other cats, but is an alpha personality so would probably be happiest as an only kitty. Depending on the personality of the other cat in the home, she might be okay as long as she can be the main diva. She is playful and her current foster mom has nothing but wonderful things to say about her. Genny is front declawed and must be an inside-only cat. If a soft sweet tuxedo kitty fits the bill for your next forever family member, look no further! Fill out an application and adopt Genny today!

For further information please contact us at or call 214-676-2434. Anyone interested in our cats will be required to fill out an adoption application. All our cats will be spayed or neutered, microchipped and current on vaccinations. We do ask for a $135 adoption donation. To fill out an application on, just go to and click on the Adoption Application link.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

GENNY - DECLAWED SWEETIE!!, a Plano Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Plano, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Plano.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plano already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plano breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plano paves the way for another one to be saved.
