Betsy Ross's Story...
Betsy is an active kitten who loves to play and cuddle. Her mom is a half bengal, but her fur is getting longer, so she should look much like a Maine Coon as an adult. She is soft and sweet, having been handled since birth.. She has a twin brother, who has the same markings as she does and they are available as a pair on the Buddy Special. This baby will be available on August 30 to go home. They are felv and fiv negative and her adoption donation is $50 cash for one and $75 for two. If you are interested in adopting this pet, please go to our website at http://www.petfinder.com/shelters/TX1208.html and fill out the application located at the bottom of the page and email it to txecr11@gmail.com
Out-of-state adoption fees may vary. We do not ship animals. Adopters must come to get their animal and accompany it back home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Betsy Ross, a Dallas Maine Coon kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Dallas, or seeking a Maine Coon kitten from a breeder in Dallas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dallas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dallas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dallas paves the way for another one to be saved.
