Iggy's Story...
Iggy was found as a stray and her owners were not able to be located. If you are looking for a more mellow and quiet Chihuahua, than Iggy is your girl. A lot of Chihuahua's tend to bark and can be a bit yappy, but she is the opposite. She has an awesome temperament for such a young dog and has proven to be trustworthy and well trained in her new foster home. She is with a nice family of 2 adults, 1 child and 2 other dogs and is getting along just great. She sits on command, alerts her foster mom when she wants to go out to potty, is crate trained and also uses a potty pad when left unattended in the house as a last resort. She lives for cuddle time and wants to be on the couch in someone's lap as much as possible.

The vet has examined her and thinks she is between 6-8 months old. She is being fixed, vaccinated and microchipped this coming week so she will be all ready for her forever home very soon. If you have any interest meeting this sweet little girl please email both Brittany and Karen at:

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Iggy, a Gilbert Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
