Cody's Story...
My brother, sisters and I started our lives outdoors. You see, we have a great mother that was abandoned, and soon we came along. We lived on a front porch not to far from the road, and could not come inside, so St Francis came and gave us a chance at a good life. I am the lover of the group. I love to be carried around, cuddled and will make great biscuits on you, to show you my happiness...I also like to purr a lot. If you would like to meet me or any of my siblings just call my foster mom, and she will tell you all about us.
Love, Cody

P.S. Please pick me!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cody, a Tampa American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
