Beatris's Story...
Beatris is a little shy but she is very loving and playful. She loves to crawl up on your lap and be petted and loved on. She is cautious at first but when people show her patience, she blossoms into an uninhibited free spirit. She was saved by St. Francis after being put on the county shelter's euthanasia list with her brother Khal Drago when they were wee little kittens. There was just no space for them at the shelter. Do you have space for them in your home?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Beatris, a Tampa American Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a American Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
