My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rusty is a handsome scruffy boy with eyes that will look right into your soul. He loves to be with people and needs a home where his family can be with him most of the time. He will bark some if left alone so we would not recommend him for apartment or condo living. Rusty has fantastic house manners and is crate-trained and housebroken. He will love to watch TV with you or sit by your feet when you are on the computer. He will sit in his bed near the kitchen while you fix dinner. He is not clingy but just thrives on the companionship and loves it when people are around. Rusty does very well on leash and will enjoy making new friends in the neighborhood. He loves other dogs and does fabulous with our cats. He is not a real energetic dog and prefers a nice slow pace on his outings. He rides well in the car. Rusty is 3 years old and weighs 20 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on his shots. He is heartworm negative and on monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas and ticks. We meet families at our adoption center in downtown Mocksville by appointment only. Meetings are generally scheduled for between the hours of noon and 4 pm or after 7 pm any day of the week, holidays included. 45e59
