Olivia's Story...
Hi there! I'm Olivia, the world's cutest frosted mug, who loves all people and will steal your heart in a nanosecond. I'm new to the rescue, so I'm not quite ready for adoption yet, but I wanted to say hi and see if maybe you were looking to add a sweet girl like me to your family. So far I have been good with other dogs, ride oh-so-nicely in the car, am gentle on the leash, and love to make new friends wherever I go. I am quite the social butterfly, and have stolen the hearts of everyone. I'm about 12 years old, and have a condition called protein losing neuropathy, which is a type of kidney disease. I am looking for someone to love me in the twilight of my life, provide me with a comfy place to call home, and loving people to call family. Feel free to email questions about me to Woof! Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Olivia, a Palatine Boxer/American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Palatine, or seeking a Boxer/American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Palatine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Palatine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Palatine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Boxer/American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Palatine paves the way for another one to be saved.
