Fabulous Ferry's Story...
Hi! my name is Fabulous Ferry and I am looking for a loving, forever home. I was rescued from the streets of Puerto Rico after being hit by a car. My rescuer is a wonderful man who is a volunteer and supporter of The Sato Project. I had to have my leg amputated but I don't know the difference. I am such a happy go lucky dog. I am great with other dogs and am a big cuddler. My foster family who lives in New York absolutely loves and adores me. I also walk well on a leash :)). I am about 1.5 years old, 55 lbs, neutered, fully vetted and vaccinated and microchipped. How can you resist my cute face :)). If you are interested in meeting me please email adoption@thesatoproject.com. Can't wait to meet you. Love and Kisses, Fabulous Ferry :)).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fabulous Ferry, a Madison Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Madison, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Madison.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Madison already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Madison breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Madison paves the way for another one to be saved.
