Bailey's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Bailey's Story...
Bailey is a sweet 2 1/2 year old spayed female Black Lab blend. She may be a small gal but seems to have a large heart with a willingness to work and please people. It's reported that Bailey isn't house trained but is kennel trained and she has done ok in her kennel. She is interested in toys but apparently not familiar with play. Bailey likes being handled and loved but was a bit skittish around the brush when being groomed. Bailey knows to sit, drops on command, and is working on shake ( took some time to get her to extend a paw). Right now Bailey is content to be someone's shadow though we believe she'll become confident and more adventurous with time. Bailey should probably go to an active but quieter home. If you have a spot in your heart for a loving Lab you should come meet Bailey.

If you want to apply for Bailey click here. You can then email the application to the Meridian Valley Humane Society. Applications are now being accepted, and a visitation with the dog is encouraged. All applications will be considered and the adoption coordinator will call the person chosen to adopt the dog after the available date.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bailey, a Meridian Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Meridian, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Meridian.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Meridian already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Meridian breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Meridian paves the way for another one to be saved.
