My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! My name is Bentley.

I spent a lot of time fending for myself over the years. I don’t really know how old I am because cats don’t tell time the ways humans do, but my foster mom says she thinks I’m around 7 years old. When she took me from the shelter, I had open sores on my cheeks and paint all stained on my paws. I wasn’t well looked after before I met her. I think I gave myself the sores because I kept rubbing against the walls of my cage at the shelter to get some affection. I didn’t like being in the cage at all. No sireee! You don’t get much human affection a cage.

Because I had to fend for myself quite a bit, I tend to be on the watch for food. I’ll monitor the tables and counters for morsels. I know I’m not supposed to, but my foster mom still loves me because I have lots of adorableness in me that makes up for it.

Like the fact that I love to cuddle and get lots of attention and always want to know what my foster parents are up to. Cats and dogs are okay. I mostly ignore them though. What can I say, I much prefer humans! They’re so much more interesting. And my human foster sister, who’s 8 years old… well, I just adore her. I think there’s a picture of me watching her play violin. She’s just so awesome!

Because I spent a lot of time outdoors before, I still try to go there, but my foster parents won’t let me. I’ve learned to accept it and realize that life on the inside is pretty good here. It’s just that it wasn’t before, so I get worried it might happen again. I’m hoping that my new parents will be nice to me too! Could that be with you? If you want a handsome and loving fur friend who will be at your side through it all, one who will provide you with lots of entertainment, why not contact Team Cat and ask about that handsome boy they call Bentley. Yep, that’s me!
