Trixie's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Trixie's Story...
What can you say about a baby? She is happy playful and loves everyone! Born mid June 2014, Trixie is just full of love and so sweet! Trixie's mom is a dachshund/wirey terrier mix, and her dad is a lab beagle mix.

Trixie has been raised with other dogs and cats, and does very well with children.

Puppies this age become what new owners mold them into. They are sweet, loving, happy, and eager to learn. They need to be taught and trained. They look at other animals as playmates. It is up to new owners to keep them animal friendly and turn them into wonderful family pets.

We are a shelterless rescue, which means we do not have a physical location, so it is not possible to come to see multiple dogs at one time. Our adoption fee is $450 and includes all their vetting, including their spay/neuter, and transport up to the Northeast.***

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Trixie, a berwick Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in berwick, or seeking a Dachshund puppy from a breeder in berwick.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in berwick already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a berwick breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in berwick paves the way for another one to be saved.
