BRUCE's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

BRUCE's Story...
What a wonderful dog this guy is! Bruce and sister, Avery, arrived together and were just so grateful to be around people who would love and care for them. They had been roaming around for awhile looking for a good home. Where they lived previously, they were not appreciated for the loving and gentle dogs that they are. Bruce is a male, Labrador retriever, we'll say mix, although he is probably full blooded. He is approx 12 months old and weighs 45 lbs. He is a little thin and we are working on adding a few pounds to his weight. Bruce has been neutered and is up to date on vaccines. He is testing heart worm negative and we have him on all monthly preventatives. He is very calm for a Lab. Labs are usually goofy and active. Bruce is very calm and gentle and loves affection of any kind. He is very cat friendly and very dog friendly. Great with children of all ages. Bruce would be a wonderful addition to any family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BRUCE, a Bedminster Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Bedminster, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Bedminster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bedminster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bedminster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bedminster paves the way for another one to be saved.
