My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Josie, a 6 month old GSD mix who is all puppy from her big floppy ears down to her big heavy feet. She sits very nicely and is working on other commands like down, leave it, and wait. Like all GSDs, she'll be "puppy like" for up to 2 years and will need lots of work and attention to help her become a good girl. She is mostly housetrained with very few accidents, she is comfortable in her kennel. She is learning to walk nicely on a leash but still gets excited when she sees other dogs on leash and will need more work in this area. Josie likes to bark at things she sees as she is not sure what they are and wants to warn them she is coming. She has lived with kitties and will need gentle reminders that they are not play toys, but watch out bunnies, birds, ducks and squirrels as she is a hunter. She loves to play and would probably like another dog as a bigger brother. She's learning fetch and is getting pretty good at dropping the toy. If you are looking for a puppy and have time to work with her, she'd be a wonderful addition to your family.
