My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DIXIE is a 5 year old yellow spayed female Lab who weighs 60 pounds. She's an easy dog ~ she fits in where ever she goes. She is likes everyone she meets whether they have 2 or 4 feet. She hasn't been interested it retrieving as she would rather be with you. She's good with dogs and cats (formerly lived with both), is house and crate trained and knows some commands: sit, come, down. Dixie is Heartworm positive (Lab Rescue will pay for Heartworm treatment if done at one of our vets). She's approved for kids aged 5+. More info on her soon!

This dog is available for adoption from Lab Rescue LRCP. The rescue has around 50 dogs available for adoption.

If you are interested in adopting, please visit www.lab-rescue.org and complete an adoption application. Within a few days of submitting an application you will hear from an Adoption Coordinator who will guide you through the adoption process.

An adoption fee is charged to cover the cost of veterinary care and a house check is required.
