My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! I'm Bud the beagle! I'm the sweetest, friendliest, most handsome beagle you'll ever meet! I have three goals in life: to get belly rubs, to get ear rubs, and to eat things! My foster family doesn't know a ton about my past. I was picked up as a stray. They think there must be a family out there missing me really bad because I'm a very good beagle! In fact, I don't mean to brag, but I've been in my foster home for about a month and I've never had an accident - I've never even marked! Sometimes I chew things I shouldn't but I stop as soon as my foster family tells me to because I love them SOOOO much and I just want to make them happy!

You should know that I do have some separation anxiety. I don't get destructive or anything, but I do cry a lot when my people leave so you'll have to be patient with me - I'm not trying to be bad, I'll just miss you a lot! When I go to my new forever home my separation anxiety will probably get worse since I've really come to love my foster family and think of them as my people. When I first came to them I was pretty scared of unfamiliar dogs, but my foster family helped me see that new dogs aren't so bad. Even still, they think I'd do best as an only dog.

I also REALLY want to find all the bunnies and squirrels that I smell, and so I try really hard to dig and find other ways out of my foster home's yard. They've plugged up all of my escape routes, so I haven't gotten out again...but man would it be great to chase down those bunnies I smell! But I guess I'd need you to make sure that my new house is really secure, darn!

Pretty much I love lounging around, chewing on my Kong, playing tug of war and sniffing for bunnies! If you want to be my forever home I promise you'll be getting a really wonderful friend who will love you for the rest of his life! Let the people at MW BREW know you can't wait to adopt me and they'll put you in touch with my foster family!
