My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Breed: Holland Lop Size: About 3.5 pounds Color: Blue Tort Approximate DOB: Approximately 1 year old as of 8/2014 Reason in rescue. Daisy was owner surrendered to us when her owners didn't want to keep her anymore. They were not happy that she didn't use her litter box, and was a little bit wild. They had her living outside :( They didn't realize that spaying and neutering bunnies, eliminates 99% of bad behavior! Luckily she was able to come here where we can get her spayed and find her a real, indoor home! Personality: The name we gave Daisy fits her perfectly. She is a bright, sunny, cheery little bun who loves the world and is cute as a button :) She loves people, loves attention, wants to be with humans and be snuggled and cuddled. She's not a huge fan of being picked up, but we're working on it. She's is just a perfect little love bug who would be awesome in any home! She is learning what a litter box is, but we know when she is spayed, that will come quickly for her. She's very smart! Friends: Daisy is a good candidate to be bonded to a neutered male. Requirements: Must be adopted as an indoor animal, with an as large as possible plastic bottomed cage or puppy pen. Adoption process: An adoption application must be filled out (email for the application), and approved by us. Then we will arrange a meeting time to see the animal of interest. A home visit is required prior to adoption. Suggested adoption donation is $60 which includes her spay, microchip, and first vet visit. **Please email if you are interested in adoption. We respond to all emails within 24 hours** Recommended Food: Unlimited timothy or grass hay (should be around 80% of their diet), Oxbow or Kaytee timothy pellets, about 1/4 cup a day,and 2-3 servings of veggies a day (slowly introduced), especially fresh greens like romaine, green leaf, dandelion, spring or baby mixes, etc. Bedding: Newspaper, Yesterday's News, Cellsorb, or Carefresh
