My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Caiya is a well-mannered and sweet two year old Siberian husky. Caiya was just recently rescued by
Farfel’s Rescue from Texas where she was extremely underweight, had worms, and was nursing pups. She was lucky to make it out alive, but it has not deterred her from loving people and life. She absolutely loves people and other dogs. When she meets new people she is calm and just loves to let others pet her. She is especially good with children and seems to naturally want to protect them.Caiya has a lot of typical husky traits. She is stubborn, an escape artist, and in need of a lot of exercise. She is house trained, but will make a mistake if she has been alone for a while or is in an unfamiliar place. It doesn’t seem like she has ever had training, but is eager to please.

Caiya loves to be outdoors and needs a lot of exercise. On leash she is good and should not be off leash for walks or runs in the city because she loves other people and dogs so much. Up in the mountains she is great off leash. If home alone she will look for a way to escape, but she has never chewed up anything. She doesn’t seem to bark at all. When you are with her at home, she is the perfect dog. She’ll play if you want to play and relax when you need to work.

Caiya is a truly amazing dog! Her beautiful eyes and sweet personality make her easy to love. An ideal owner would be a jogger that would run with her every day, has a family, possibly another dog, and a secure fenced yard.

Caiya is being fostered in Boulder. If you think you're a good match for Caiya please complete our adoption application at www.farfelsrescue.com. When emailing it please put ATTN: CASEY in the subject line. Thanks!
