Jessabelle's Story...
Jesse's is growing up right before our eyes! Here is her updated bio and pictures - she is a really good puppy

My name is Jessabelle, Jesse for short. I am 4 months young and weigh 8.5lbs. I have had a great start in life – my Mom was taken into rescue when she was about to give birth, and K9 Mill Rescue has raised me and my 8 brothers and sisters, finding each of us loving forever homes. I had a cherry eye (swollen eyelid) so they decided to keep me until I was big enough to have surgery to fix it and be spayed at the same time. Well, my foster Mom says I am now perfect and ready to start looking for my family! I am very loving, enjoy playing with my foster playmates, and I am working hard on potty training. I sleep in a soft bed in a crate at night and don’t make any messes! I just love snuggling when my foster Mom stops moving too! I have been spayed, micro chipped and all age appropriate vaccines. If you want a sweet, playful little pup to make you smile, contact my people! Call 682.214.6320 or email: info@k9millrescue.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jessabelle, a Hurst Pug/Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Dachshund for sale in Hurst, or seeking a Pug/Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Hurst.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hurst already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hurst breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Dachshund breeders who help with Pug/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hurst paves the way for another one to be saved.
