Summer is a Havanese/Poodle mix. How adorable is she? She is 13 lbs and we think she is about 3 years old. Guess what? She doesn’t shed at all! She has soft hair and as you can see, she doesn’t have the curly poodle look. She walks well on a leash and loves rolling on the grass and having her belly scratched. She is housetrained, working on her crate training and great with kids. She is fearful of her fosters husband so we are not sure yet whether this fear generalizes to other men. She is a little jumpy at loud noises and vigilant about her environment. Although she is a sweet girl she does not seem to crave attention and we think she may be looking for her old owners as she will let herself be held and petted by anyone but she doesn’t seem to need the attention. She is a curious little girl but also quite content to sit and watch the world go by. We think that she is the kind of dog who would be fiercely loyal to her person. Are you that person?
