Fraggle's Story...
8-20-14 update: Fraggle is being returned to our program after a much heartbreaking decision made by her adoptive family. The family is having to relocate to the east coast and after discussing Fraggle and what is best for her it was decided by all of us that placing her in a new home local would be best rather than making her relocate all the way to the east coast. Fraggle is on medication for urinary incontinence which is made worse by stress and change. Although she currently resides with two young children, due to previous experiences prior to being surrendered to us, we will only place her in a home with older children or no children. Fraggle will continued to be fostered by her adopters until another forever home can be found. Fraggle is sweet, gentle and very well behaved...unless you are a squirrel and then look out. As ou can tell from the primary picture she is used to certian luxuries in the home! Please submit an application and email us if you are interested in making this special girl a part of your home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fraggle, a Springfield Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Springfield, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Springfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Springfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Springfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Springfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
