I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Q's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Q's Story...
Q is a very small, young, male Chihuahua cross (possibly with pug) that was found abandoned on the side of the highway in a rural area. It is obviously that this little man's first interactions with people were not pleasant. He started off terrified of people making even the slightest movement while near him but through the patience, structure and love that he has been getting in his foster home he has grown into a playful and sweet (although still shy) little dog. He is wonderful with other dogs of all sizes and we recommend that he goes to a home with other dogs to help how him how to cope with his new life, he also does very well with cats and is currently living with older children. He enjoys going out for a walk with his foster family, playing with his buddies outside and just chilling inside on lazy days. Q is looking for a relatively quiet household that has the patience to help him continue to build confidence in himself and trust in people. He is kennel trained and clean in the house.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Q, a Smithers Chihuahua/Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Pug for sale in Smithers, or seeking a Chihuahua/Pug dog from a breeder in Smithers.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Smithers already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Smithers breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Pug breeders who help with Chihuahua/Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Smithers paves the way for another one to be saved.
