My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is "Matted Max Martini". He is a 5 year old Shih Tzu.

Max got his "full name" due to his condition when he came into rescue. He was so severely matted you could not tell his head from his tail. Max had to be medically sedated in order to properly remove all of his matted coat. The condition had been neglected so long that the mats grew into Max's eyes and had to be surgically removed.

Matted Max Martini is on the rebound! With his various medications and a little extra TLC Max should make a full recovery.

He is currently looking for a forever home, or a foster home to recover in.
