JOY's Story...
6 years old, female cat
Meet the sweetest little gal around, Joy! This gorgeous long-haired persian mix is about 6 years old and was surrendered to the shelter after her owner could no longer care for her. It is clear she was well loved and Joy will certainly make her new owner very happy. Joy previously lived with cats and dogs, and currently lives with both in her foster home & does great with them! She is a low-key cat and would love a mellow, relaxing home where she can snuggle the day away. Joy likes being brushed, held, and petted, and her former owner had nothing but good things to say about this sweetheart. Her foster mom reports that she is a super easy kitty and one of the nicest, sweetest cats she has fostered.
Joy is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on all vaccines including rabies, is litter box trained, is comfortable having her nails trimmed, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.
Joy will be sure to warm your heart! Adopt her today and give her the forever home she deserves!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

JOY, a Cheltenham Persian cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Persian for sale in Cheltenham, or seeking a Persian cat from a breeder in Cheltenham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cheltenham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cheltenham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Persian breeders who help with Persian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cheltenham paves the way for another one to be saved.
