Meet Oscar! He is a 7 year old Chihuahua who was originally found as a stray, and was tested heartworm positive at the shelter. He might have though he was pretty unlucky, but then a foster family came along, got him treated for his heartworms and kept him through his recovery. He is now heartworm negative and ready for his forever family to come and adopt him! Oscar is great with other dogs around his size (we haven't seen him with bigger dogs), and is good with cats but does like to chase them. He is a laid back guy, and hasn't been much of a barker. He is housetrained but may need a few reminders in new home. Oscar is neutered, current on his vaccinations, and microchipped. He is ready to go home today! Come and meet this little guy at our Waggin' Tails Adoption Center in Benbrook, we are open daily from 12-6pm.
