My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! My name is Broozer and I am 5 years young. My foster Mom calls be Bru or, can you believe it, Baby Broozer! The indignity of it! I am a strong, handsome, big boy, not a baby! But she then gives me butt scratches and all is good! I loooovvvee butt scratches! Actually, I love just about anything that involves my people!

I was surrendered to IEBR because my original mom thought the boys in the house were a bit rough and she was worried that I might get hurt. So, in came IEBR and I was picked up by IEBR and found my way to my foster house. Here I have a fur foster sister and I am so laid back and so is she that we get along perfectly. There are also two cats that live inside the house and they told me right away that I was not going to mess with them so I leave them alone. The outside cats are much friendlier and my foster parents sometimes have to remind me that the cats are not as sturdy as I am and really don’t like to play chase like I do.

I do not like a crate! I am too good of a bully to suffer hard time in the crate. I do talk if my people are in a room that I can not get into. I do the same if put in a crate and my people are home and about. I am fully house trained so there are no issues there!

My foster mom says that if I wasn’t so perfect she would adopt me. I am a slow, clean eater and I hardly ever dribble water on the floor when I drink! My nose and ears are easy to clean. I love my chew toys and do not try to chew on anything that isn’t chew acceptable.

My foster sister sleeps on the couch ALL day. I really don’t like furniture and prefer to lay on the floor, in the dog bed, or on the cool wood floor. I will wait by the door when someone leaves and I am the official greeter when people come home! My foster parents say I am a bit eager to get outside and we are working on my manners. I love to go outside! There is so much to see and smell that I could stay outside forever! Foster mom and dad always make me come in and I will, but it is begrudgingly and you have to tell me cause sometimes I act like I can’t hear you when you tell me it is time to come in.

I would fit into almost any home! The vet says I am in tip top shape, as you can clearly see! Looking forward to reviewing the many applications I will receive.

Gotta go chew on my bone- Bru
