Here's what the humans have to say about me:
AFTON is a 10 month spayed chocolate female.Lab who weighs 57 pounds (and still growing). Affable Afton takes the cake for cute and loveable! She charmed her shelter as well as our evaluator in no time flat. Afton is a playful young lab and will need to go to an adopter who will spend time with her and exercise her regularly. Hint: this regimen will also benefit the human in the equation! She's approved for kids aged 10+. More info on her soon!
From LR evaluator: Afton's middle name should be 'Sweetie' because she is the sweetest thing! She is so happy and friendly and playful! She takes treats gently, lets you touch her all over and loves to chase a ball! She has the typical Lab personality, happy go lucky. She is a beautiful chocolate color with gorgeous eyes. Her teeth are so perfect pearly white. She is such a great, happy dog that will be blossom in a home, as she loves everyone and everything! She gets along fine with dogs - played with another male out in the yard.
See her energetic video here! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ml6QkR4wnw&feature=youtu.be
From LR transporter: She is a fabulous dog. She was a 'chocolate ping pong ball' at first and desperately needs to get some exercise... BUT with a bully stick, she settled into my lap, snuggled up and rode like a champion. Someone lucky is going to adore this gal - she's absolute perfection!
This dog is available for adoption from Lab Rescue LRCP. The rescue has around 50 dogs available for adoption.
If you are interested in adopting, please visit www.lab-rescue.org and complete an adoption application. Within a few days of submitting an application you will hear from an Adoption Coordinator who will guide you through the adoption process.
An adoption fee is charged to cover the cost of veterinary care and a house check is required.
