Facts about Trouble

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Black (Mostly)
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: 7516510-Elp-C-Trouble
  • Hair: Short

Trouble, is so named because she's very curious and likes to investigate everything in the house. Though she's very adventurous, she's also very laid back,  sitting still in the middle of a busy pet store and allowing us to take her picture without ever flinching. She's loves being petted, but not so much held for very long, soon off to play with a toy or a housemate. She does like to be next to her human or another feline when sleeping.

Trouble and her litter mates, Crook and Fluff were born around June 1st. Of the 3, Trouble is the smallest and will probably remain a slight sized cat even when grown. She gets along well with the other cats in the house and doesn't really cause any trouble other than knocking a few things off the shelf while she's in the midst of her exploring.

Trouble is up to date on her vaccinations, has been spayed and tested negative for FIV & FeLV. If you'd like more information, please call 662-342-9448; email: info@desotoanimalrescue.org or submit a pre-adoption application here: http://desotoanimalrescue.org/cat-adoption-application.html

About Desoto Animal Rescue Society

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and placement of unwanted, abandoned, and abused pets, giving them a second chance at a loving forever home. All animals taken in receive necessary medical care, vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered prior to adoption.

We are not a shelter with a facility where you can visit our pets. All rescued pets live in our own homes, where they are evaluated and cared for until they find their ideal adoptive family. We carefully screen prospective homes and require all applicants to go through an adoption application process.

We are not affiliated with the Desoto County Animal Shelter or any governmental agency. We do not receive any taxpayer funds. We operate solely on donations and the revenue we generate from fundraising events. 100% of our incoming funds go directly towards the care of our animals and to pay our vet bills. All other expenses are paid for by our own volunteers.

Donate to Our Rescue Group...

We've made it very easy for you to donate one time, set up a recurring payment/sponsorship or do a tribute for someone. Everything is on our website here: info@desotoanimalrescue.org

Come Meet Our Pets...

Please see our website for the locations and times of our Adoption Events. We occasionally have special events which we're unable to post on all sites.

Our Adoption Process...

All pets are up-to-date on routine vaccinations and are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. All dogs are tested heartworm negative and all cats are tested feline aids/feline leukemia negative. We require a pre-adoption application and a home visit. To help cover our veterinary costs, we ask for a $125 adoption donation for dogs and puppies and a $75 adoption donation for cats and kittens.
