Candis's Story...
Candis is a female Lab / Rott mixed puppy, and she was born in June of 2014. She is a very sweet and happy puppy. She will thrive with positive training. She would do best with a fenced-in yard and children that are 6 years old or older. She should do well with other dogs and be trainable with cats. Candis will be a wonderful companion.

*Candis' adoption fee is $200. All HSSCM puppies have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and are on monthtly heartworm/flea prevention.*

Candis, a Battle Creek Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler for sale in Battle Creek, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler puppy from a breeder in Battle Creek.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Battle Creek already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Battle Creek breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Battle Creek paves the way for another one to be saved.
