Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Charlie is arbout 3 yrs, 12 cute short healthy pounds
He has med energy, loves loves his plushtoys and loves to sit on your lap just as much if not more
he loves to be your velcro best buddy
if you are looking for such a velcro boy that will bond deeply with all his heart and soul you won't find a better one
Though he's shy and skittish at times he has the biggest heart and so much love to give he will flourish with the right loving female owner
All Charlie is looking for is lots of love and a safe place where he can count on you in any situation to be kept safe with leadership and confidence which he is learning now in his new foster home
Since his best buddy was adopted leaving him behind we moved him to another foster where he will get more one on one though he's living without another dog which is totally fine for him he seems to be much more into his human woman then anything else
Charlie is looking for a new mom or young retired folks that are more of the home bodies and less social as he does not care to be very social himself when out and about
a quiet home life with some neighborhood walks is all he needs and lots of snuggling and laptime
he does not like loud cars and city noises right next to him when walking so a city neighborhood not ideal unless you are confident and knowledgable to teach him to be ok around cars
He just needs to gain confidence and with the right good leader he will as he has started here with myself
Charlie would love a second chance in his life to be loved and bonded to his owner that will keep him safe and teach him all the good things in life
so please be shy dog experienced as that's what he needs a mentally strong good leader
Charlie is a fun and playful dog at home we will have a video of that very soon
He's a very handsome adorable little boy that has waited for a long time to be found
we want him in the right home forever
Charlie would be great for a lonely person that needs a sidekick, gardening shadow watching TV together being a best buddy
someone that knows what a real bond between dog and human is
He's a VERY sweet and loyal boy and loves to be with woman he is fine with gentle nice men over time once settled otherwise all he does is avoid them and runs away so if a man at home must be patient and a dog whisperer type
Charlie loves any and all plushtoys, loves to run in the fenced yard too as well exploring going for nature hikes
looking for someone home during the day or most the day that has had small dogs before
He's good traveling in car and good on leash
He does need to be lifted in out of my high truck but can learn to get in out of a lower normal highest car
He just lays down and sleeps when traveling
He does get scared when in new environments but will ease once he has gone to same places (same walking environments)
He would prefer to just stay home but we do take him socializing a bit to get him out and about
So if you are more of a homebody, quiet neighborhood
tons of love to offer with dog experience you may want to apply for this sweet cutie
We are not looking to place him with any large dogs at home unless it's an older mellow dog very friendly to small dogs
nice older visiting kids are fine but he's not a kids dog to live with kids but an adult home companion
Charlie is fostered in a quiet Mountain setting right now and he loves that going for many daily walks
from short to long he can easily keep up and he's not very heavy to carry
He has no problem being picked up and likes to be carried at times like when going to a bust town with lots of cars around he prefers being carried but he's learning to be more confident about that too
He's good to not run out the door while on leash he will wait to let you go first he responds to ahhhh for staying back and not rush the door
He loves cooked Turkey and chicken which he gets a bit most days
He's on premium glutenfree kibble and prefer small kibble over the larger one
he loves any type of jerky treat like Duck or chicken
He likes being covered up or better sleep in bed with his mommie
Charlie likes being in charge when living with another male dog but not in an aggressive way
He lived with another smaller male for quit some time without any problems
He most likely would appreciate a female over a male dog
Charlie met a few of the fosters large fem dogs ranging from 65 to 100 pounds they are older so not hyper and pushy which he does just fine so if you have a very mellow large senior dog he would be just fine with one
