Nate's Story...
Name: Nate
Color: Black and Tan
Breed: German Shepherd Mix
Gender: Male
Age: 6 Months
Hey this is Nate. He is a sweet young man looking for his forever home. Nate has already had two homes in his short little life so we would like this next one to be his permanent home. We know puppies are a huge responsibility and we want to make sure you have the time and energy to commit to him to ensure that he grows to be a stable adult.
Big fan of: Exercise! Nate is young and will need a ton of socialization and exercise to keep you and him happy.
Special Features: Like all WHS puppies, Nate needs to be signed up for positive based obedience classes before his adoption can be finalized! He will need to be crate trained and this will help with housebreaking.
Dream Home: Due to his energy level Nate cannot live in a household with children under 10 years of age. Nate would love a dog sibling to play away his days with, one that will teach him the ways of the world.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nate, a Bellingham German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
