Ceara's Info...

I am already spayed, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with cats.

Ceara's Story...
Ceara was removed from a disreputable hoarder/rescuer, where she was physically and emotionally neglected. When she came to Stray Cat Blues, she was thin and underweight, dehydrated and had respiratory and eye infections. Prior to coming to SCB, we know she had never seen a vet or given any medical attention but we do know that she has been caged since kittenhood. But her “bounce-back-ability” is amazing.

Ceara is a long and lanky black kitty who became a lap cat about one week after leaving the only cage she knew and never before having a lap to sit on. Her estimated date of birth is 6/1/07. This girl is spunky and smart; she never looked back. She will make a wonderful addition to any type of household as she likes all people and their laps.

Ceara is listed as special needs. Because of the lack of care of eye infections as a kitten she has recurring eye discharge that must be wiped off each day. This is actually really easy to care for (and does not require medication or vet monitoring).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ceara, a Colmar Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Colmar, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Colmar.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colmar already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colmar breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colmar paves the way for another one to be saved.
