Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Diamond:
Who can resist this adorable face? And, when you talk to her, she tilts her head in that sweet way dogs do to try & figure out what you are saying...melts your heart!
Little Diamond is a compact, energetic, 1 year old spayed female who enjoys the other company of other dogs and has many male and female canine friends that she romps with every day in our yard. She has been very respectful of other dogs when it comes to their toys and has shown very good judgement when we have had her out at large dog events where she kept and even and cool demeanor with people and dogs alike!
She loves to play fetch and can get very excited (a little jumpy and obnoxious) when playing so we would prefer that she be in a home with kids over 10 so her jumpy behavior does not become overwhelming because she 100% knows her obedience commands so we want to be sure she continues with her training….maybe a family manners class would be something fun for her to do so everyone in the home can participate in continued training with this VERY smart girl?
As with most dogs her age, Diamond is feeling the effects of her adolescence conflicting with her being confined for more than 20 hours/day so her leash skills are not as great as we would like them to be (she pulls) but we are working with her regularly and are super confident that once in a home environment, she would be fantastic. No leash reactivity, no guarding, no handling issues.
She did pretty darn great in her professional evaluation and we see a dog that will mature into a wonderful companion, a 2nd dog, a running partner, a family member……She is still available for adoption and please, you should watch her yard play videos to get a deeper glimpse into her personality- she is a real character.
