My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Roxy was a stray pup that was cared for by the Lorain County Animal Hospital. She was a parvo dog that the hospital donated their fees for because she was so lovable. Roxy has been recovering in a foster home and is now is a healthy girl. This is what her foster dad had to say about her..."Roxy looks to be a purebred but she was a stray, so it's not something that is certain. I would say she has all the features of what's referred to as a Blue Pit Bull. She's very active, loves to play and retrieve toys. Roxy is not quite house trained yet but well on her way if she keeps to a schedule. This sweet girl does extremely well in her kennel. She's quiet in the evenings and an early riser to go out and do her business. Roxy is a 4 month old puppy and has typical puppy behaviors, teething is one of them. Over this sweetheart will make a family very happy."

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.
