Jordon's Story...
Jordon:  1 year old male Black Lab
Weight: 60 lbs

Jordon is a 60 lb 1 yr old Black Lab. He is a smart dog and pretty laid back. He is ok with most everything in his surroundings and acts like a big baby. He gets really scared of other dogs that barks at him and will duck behind you and roll over right away for submission. He loves people and nice dogs. I can see him really enjoying a lake or pool and a buddy to wrestle with. He still has puppy left in him so he has some energy he needs to burn off throughout the day but is not an extremely active guy either. He would be a good family dog or farm dog. I think the farm is suitable as i don't think he would take it upon himself to chase or bother any livestock or farm animals. He will be a good guy for someone who wants a easy low maintenance pup.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jordon, a Park Rapids Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Park Rapids, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Park Rapids.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Park Rapids already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Park Rapids breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Park Rapids paves the way for another one to be saved.
