Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Good with dogs, cats, goats etc in foster care. Chewy is a darling, calm boy with an unusual look about him. He has the coat of a Chow but not any of the "so called" Chow personality traits. He loves to be with people and loves his walks. The volunteers look forward to taking Chewy out. He is such a wonderful guy, he gets along well with all the other dogs at the shelter, even the ones who think they don't like other dogs. His calm personality just seems to wow everyone. Now that he is in foster care, we have found he doesn't just like being with dogs but cats, kids and goats. Guess he's just Mr. Personality who wins everyone over. Chewy is about 40lbs. and 8 years old. If not reclaimed by its owner Chewy will be available for adoption from Oceana County Animal Shelter. Please call 231-861-5395. **Ask about adoption transportation assistance if you do not live in the local area.** The adoption fee is $95. All adult dogs will be spayed/neutered and up to date on shots prior to adoption. Puppies receive certificates for spay/neuter and $10 towards rabies vaccine.
