Riley's Story...
Riley is a very sweet loving dog. We Have nicknamed her Kate after princess Kate Middleton because she is always so regal. She loves to lay out on the deck, she knows sit, down, shake, and even roll over. Rides great. Just sits there and watches. She's okay on a leash, it's been to hot to work with her, however I know her previous owner used to run with her. Loves snuggling in bed but also loves laying on her blanket. Loves all dogs. Big and small. Not sure on cats. I do know she will jump low fences so a 6' fence would be best. She also gets her feelings hurt at loud voices or growling at her and will go lay on her blanket and slightly cower. An active family would be a great fit.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Riley, a Savannah Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Savannah, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Savannah.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Savannah already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Savannah breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Savannah paves the way for another one to be saved.
