Susie's Story...
Susie is 61/2 to 7 yrs old. She loves to fetch, and be right by your side, jogging and trips in the car. She rides beautifully. Pulls a bit when walking but foster home is working on it. She is not a barker. She was starved and made to share her food. She was emaciated, when someone first saw her, left out in the cold, and beaten, when she would have to share and fight for her food. She did not fight with a more aggressive lab that was in her home but the other boxer she would. She had a gum overgrowth but it has been taken care of. She is on a health plan at Twin Peaks Vet Hospital in Loveland. She is very loving and a great girl, and needs an indoor only home. Call Cindy at (970) 353-1385.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Susie, a Greeley Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Greeley, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Greeley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greeley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greeley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greeley paves the way for another one to be saved.
