Sugar's Story...
Sugar is a sweet little one eyed seven year old terrier/chihuahua mix of some sort. She is housebroken, crate trained and does well with other dogs. She would prefer a home without small children, but would love a family that will allow her to sleep in bed and snuggle on the couch with her. My adoption fee is $250, which includes up to date vaccinations, s/n, microchip and two in-home training sessions with our certified dog trainer from Ahead of the Pack dog training.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sugar, a Charlotte Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua for sale in Charlotte, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Charlotte.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Charlotte already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Charlotte breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Charlotte paves the way for another one to be saved.
