8/30
Mellie now plays with two of my dogs a 100 pound gentle submissive fem dog and a 70 pound 10 month old med high energy pup
She loves it
She can now play up to 15 min at a time so we do many short sessions through out the day
She is very confident playing with other dogs so most likely grew up with others
If still here she will meet another of my dogs by the weekend but he does not play
he's 150 pound Mastiff mix gentle and sweet she will love him I'm sure
see her new videos of her meeting 100 pound Lexie and playing with her right away
she has gotten fitter over the 8 days here already and loves to jump in the babypool to cool off and explore nature here I have her off leash mainly she sticks around fine and I know I could catch her if I needed too
She loves being doted on of course if you know the breed well you know what I mean

meeting her new 10 month old 70 pound male playmate
for the first time
they hit it off right away 
so yes she can get adopted with another dog as long as the other dog is as friendly and accepting of her as her new
playmate which is one of my own dogs 
Mellie also LOVES the Babypool as you can see
she will be getting in a bit better shape now
playing daily with her buddy
going for shorts walks

Mellie has been around small dogs
through fencing but seemed totally fine with them
a 8 pound and 14 pound dog 
 
Mellie had a full blood panel done and is very healthy
She's about 2 yrs old nice white teeth and weighs about 60 pounds 
 
Mellie is a wonderful spunkie gal that loves loves attention over anything else
You wont find a better temperament in the breed
We believe shes a purebred staffie the way she's build

We are looking for the best of best breed loving folks that will adore her as we do

Loves to be with you follow you around a bit play some then relax
She is in shape for a 3 legged dog but we will get her in better shape with many short walks and playtimes with her 70 pound buddy one of fosters own dogs
We prefer she would go to a cooler climate to her great forever home if not being inside with air a must
She should be treated as a bulldog since she has a very short nose and a large frame short muscled body similar to a Bulldogs body in size and muscle
She does not do well in the heat
No walking in the heat unless very early am and only for short time
Thats why we do many short little walks 5 min here and there
Mellie has a beautiful healthy coat on premium glutenfree food mixed with fresh cooked chicken her joint support and some fishoil
For treats she loves some duck jerky and cookies as well as pagers but I don't give her a whole one

She also learned to eat canfood off the spoon like my dogs do she watched them then got it down fast
She loves her open crate its a large wirecrate but also loves her cots and soft dogbeds
Mellie has a big bowling ball head and a pout lip very cute
 
We are looking for a home that has no stairs one level otherwise if you truly want her you will build her a ramp
She will be fine with one or two steps but we dont want her having to climb on a daily basis
And a lawn she loves the cool lawn
She does well on her mini walks climbing a hill but im keeping it to a minimum for now
If you have a dog already must be 100 percent non aggressive non alpha and med energy that does not want to play for hours on if it's a male her breed must be a perfect match with breed experienced folks that had more then one bully in their lives
Right now she plays 5 to 10 min tops as its all new to her
Eventually it be longer
She plays short times with her 70 pound playbuddy maybe 3 to 5 times a day starting her slow and with a very gentle 100 pound fem dog you see in her videos 
Im open to any questions once you have read the adoption process and applied once we feel you are the best match for our cute special princess
She deserves so much we will ensure she gets that
I would love to keep her but have enough of my own dogs
Which she met them all through fencing and will meet one on one in,time if still here
She has no problems with other dogs but we will not place her with another fem dog of similar breed her saftey is our main concern 
Mellie is more of a home body not fond of car rides but ok
Not car sick
You will need a low car or a ramp or lift her in if its too high
But shes heavy muscle bound beauty
We are looking for that special human that will fall in love with her sweet soul and loving heart
Someone that will appreciate to met and have this special girl
We have not had her around little kids so looking for an adult home or a nice older kid or two that know to be respectful to animals will be fine
I think she would love more family then less so she can,get lots of pets and love
You must have a fenced yard for her to enjoy on nice days
Shes used to a dog door going in out or open door
She's mainly inside with play sunbathing and potty outside
 
Mellie was hit by a car on a freeway and left for dead when AC came and got her she then was at a high kill shelter for 2 days and not able to stand up
on day 3 they took her in to have her seen by a vet and then put down after the 5 day hold period was over
 
they gave her pain meds that day, then she stood up on 3 legs so they called us and said if we wanted her we could take her now as they mistakenly killed a momma dog Indiana we had put a hold on, so sad our little Indiana had to die to save Mellies life as we did not have 2 openings
 
We got her transported to one of our Vets where she got the full 9 yards x rays etc and determined her shoulder was shattered and could not be pinned to safe her leg or we would had
 
Mellie was totally fine being lifted and handled while in severe pain everyone that met her loved her right away besides being a very beautiful dog very well bred looks purebred, short stocky huge head beautiful grey coat and a kind loving heart
We are looking for financially secure folks, home owners over the age of 25 years that know the breed and had the breed and adore the breed
