My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Age: 6 years
Gender: Male
Color: Liver & White
Weight: 40 lbs
Variety: Field
Quiet as a mouse and sweet as pie--that's our Remee! His long legs, soft coat, and striking liver face make him a handsome boy. Remee is a shy and soulful Springer who is patiently waiting for his Forever Home.

Because he was found as a stray, we don't know much about Remee's history. It is likely that he was mistreated in his previous environment, but now that he is with ESRA, he is learning that he can trust people. His foster family has taught Remee so many new things, including walking up and down stairs and taking strolls around the neighborhood on a leash. This dear boy is a quick learner, and he will form a strong bond with his Forever Family. Remee is finally starting to figure out toys--he loves them! Although he is quite timid, he is starting to break out of his shell and blossom. He would do best with a single woman or with a couple with older, quiet children in a low-activity home. Remee can become stressed easily if there is a lot of noise or commotion.

Remee enjoys his short, quiet walks. He gets along great with other dogs. Recently, Remee was a local 4-H ambassador, and he happily greeted the other dogs. He gets along great with his canine foster siblings. Overall, Remee is a low-key and sensitive charmer. His safe zone is his crate, and he will find his way there when he needs a break or a snooze. One of Remee's hobbies is lying on the rug or the floor next to his foster family. He will also follow them around the house throughout the day. Remee is not pushy or demanding. Rather he is curious, and he is always on the lookout for snuggles and security.

Remee is a super dog. He would enjoy lots of time with his true Forever Family, and he would like having a four-legged friend, as well. If you are the patient and loving person who can give him the affection and gentle care he needs, please contact his case managers at the e-mail address below.

Please note that an approved adoption application is the first step in a more thorough interview process that is designed to match each dog to exactly the right family, and that the final decision rests with the dog's case manager.

Please read the Adoption FAQ and get an Adoption Application approved before inquiring about Remee.
