My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Our foster dogs live as family members in the foster home until chosen for adoption. You can contact his foster mom, Katelynn by emailing her at cincykay27@gmail.com for more information on how he can become part of your family.

Hello, my name is Rocco, and I am a two year old male Pit Bull Terrier Mix.

I was found on the streets roaming around trying to find food and shelter. I was luck enough to find a foster home to provide me with a loving, comfortable home until I am adopted. I have been checked out by a veterinarian and neutered. I received a set of preventative shots, have been wormed, and tested negative for heartworms. My adoption fee is $20.

His foster mom has this to say about Rocco; "He's such a lover as soon as he warms up to you. He loves to lay on his back and he loves loves loves belly rubs! He's great with my two dogs. He loves his current sister (Staffordshire Terrier) the most. He loves to lay with her any chance he gets and he loves to play with her! She seems to be his favorite lol. My dogs are big girls, 70-80 lbs so I'm not sure how he does with little dogs but I would like to think he would be fine. He takes treats very gently and loves to give kisses showing his appreciation and love! He is my gentle giant! He's all hips and head, but we're feeding him good so he should fill out soon. He is very laid back and mostly likes to just relax but he does love his walks and he has his times where he also loves to play. He loves to follow both me and my boyfriend around the house unless he's totally passed out out the couch or bed. He is potty trained (he has one accident in the house but he's very diligent about going to the door to tell you he has to go.. I'm not sure what happened the one time but he's still a young guy so that's OK.. We're going to keep working on it so there's no more accidents :) ) I'm currently working on crate training him. I've only been working with him on crate training since Friday night and he has done great so far. All he needs is a bone to chew on and a treat for going to his crate and he's one happy guy. Truly this boy is amazing and anyone would be lucky to adopt him! "
