Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Maya. This silky little angel went through hell and has come out being a real charmer who loves people. Very small at only about eight pounds, but at seven to ten months old she is nearly full grown. She was found at a kill shelter by the Save The Animals Rescue Team II. She was in a litter box nursing four newborn kittens who were still entangled in their birth sacs. They were cleaned up and brought to a foster home. But after two days her temperature was elevated and her milk was exhausted so the kittens were taken by an expert baby-bottle feeder. In the following days, Maya’s own survival was uncertain as she was treated by veterinarians, but she pulled through. She is now a happy cat (really just a kitten herself) in a foster home having other cats with whom she has very little interested – she wants to look out the windows, relax in soft chairs, and be with the humans! She follows them around, talks to them, and snuggles in their laps. She is a really affectionate little girl who will make a warm addition to a new forever home – could that be yours?
