What a beautiful sweet girl Gracie is! She was removed from a neglectful situation in central Maine and has found her way to love and safety in rescue. When we got her Gracie was matted, had fleas, and was very nervous. She is blossoming into a wonderful family member with her foster family; she is living with several other dogs, both large and small, and was happy to meet the cat in their home also – they sniffed noses and that was it. .
Gracie’s foster mom tells us she is alert, very obedient and so lovely since she was groomed. She has a purple tongue and a beautiful fluffy tail. The paperwork that came with her tells us she is everything from a Pyrenean Shepherd to a Sheltie, Pomeranian, and German Shepherd. Whatever she is, she couldn’t be any cuter.
Gracie is about 30 lbs and 3 years old. She hasn’t had a lot of experiences in her former life but she is embracing the chance to go out and about and learn new things!
To apply to adopt this dog, please visit our web site to access our application and learn more about adoption through Lucky Pup Rescue, www.luckypuprescue.org, or request an application via email, luckypuprescue@yahoo.com.
Please note, we do not have a physical location, but we are supported by a network of wonderful foster homes that are spread throughout New England. A dog will need to be visited by a prospective adopter in the foster home where they are feeling safe and comfortable.
