Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Daisy! I am 21lbs of beagle cuteness and ready to find my forever home.
Here are some things you need to know about me.... When I first got to my foster home, I was extremely shy and timid. I would hide under foster mom’s bed, or in the bushes outside. I am getting better at this, but you need to know that I still need work in getting my confidence level up. I will need a patient family that is willing to help me work through this. It may take some time.
My new family will need to have a fenced-in yard because I love roaming around sniffing the good smells. I also love going for walks, but I will need a very secure harness because I sneaked out of mine once and scared foster mom!
I get scared very easily and am VERY prone to take off at loud noises or sudden movements. Foster mom is very proud of me though. We are taking it day by day and I'm really starting to come out of my shell. In fact, I had a beagle friend come over and play with me, and boy did I LOVE THAT!! I ran around and played ball with him. Foster mom has never seen this side of me! She said it is amazing! It made me so happy to play and run around! I even shared my toys with him! I would love to have another gentle beagle friend to play with in my new home. I think it will help me with my insecurities.
I've never been around cats so I don’t now if I’d like them. I don’t currently live with small children but I have met some and I have been fine with them as long as they’re about 5 years old or older.
I'm also housebroken. I've only had one accident in my foster home. I don't really know how to tell you I need to go out, but I'm working on it.
I also do very well in a crate. Not a peep out of me. All I need is a family to love me, and understand that I will need some time to work through my insecurities.
