Pikkiwoki's Story...
Pikkiwokki (born May 2014) is a sweet boy that loves to play. He can be shy at first, but once you pick him up he is all purrs. Pikki loves to play with other kittens, and doesn't even mind dogs, but he can get scared easily when there are lots of noises or sudden movements. When he was just a little kitten he was found trapped in the mud, with multiple maggots and missing fur. After a lot of care, including tube feeding, he was nursed back to health and is now bright eyed and bushy tailed. Pikki loved to get wet food treats, and his favourite toys are ones he can chase through the air.

All of our cats and kittens have been fostered in a home environment and are litter box trained, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and have been tested for FIV and FeLV prior to being made available for adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pikkiwoki, a Edmond Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Edmond, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Edmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Edmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Edmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Edmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
