Rajah's Story...
Hello, I'm Rajah. I am an all black domestic shorthair girl looking for a relaxed, loving home. My previous family had to bring me back because they foind out they had allergies to cats. Because I can't help but be a cat, I am looking for my forever home. I really enjoy having my own space and time to myself. Don't get me wrong I like to cuddle but I like to decide when. I should warn you too, I am quite sneaky, doors are no match for me. ...and they thought you needed thumbs to use door knobs... If you are looking for a cat that will love you but is content sleeping in her own little hidey hole from time to time, Rajah is the perfect cat for you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rajah, a Walker Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Walker, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Walker.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Walker already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Walker breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Walker paves the way for another one to be saved.
