DOLLY ANN's Story...
Dolly Ann is one of a kind in this world of Dachshunds. This Dappled Dachshund girl is not only gorgeous on the outside but incredibly well adjusted, loving and perfect on the inside! Dolly Ann is your best snuggler, wonderful with young children (living with two boys under the age of 7 years) and quiet as a church mouse. She is 4 years old and was surrendered to a shelter (unfathomable) because she had killed a few chickens from a neighbor’s farm. Her previous owners let her run loose and the natural Dachshund temptation just kicked in. She is 14 pounds and pure elegance and charm. She is NOT a barker, loves everyone she meets, good with other dogs and the cats at her foster home as well. This is a once in a lifetime chance for someone who loves this breed and wants a great dog. Just no chickens please. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. CONTACT US AT 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

DOLLY ANN, a Salem Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Salem, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
