Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Duke is a 2 year old border collie. He is 45lbs and around 21 inches tall.
Duke is a very affectionate, sweet boy who loves to be petted and give hugs. He is crate trained and house trained and knows basic obedience commands. He walks very well on leash and has a great recall. Duke is such a good boy, and he is looking for a home that will give him the attention he deserves. He is not a hyper active dog, but does need regular exercise. Duke is a pretty quiet boy, and rarely barks.
Duke has very strong herding instincts and would do best in a home that understands and/or has experience with herding breeds. He likes to stalk and chase the other dogs in his foster home and at doggie daycare, but he is very polite and is never mean towards other dogs, he just likes to circle them. When he gets into "herding mode" he can get a bit obsessive and it is sometimes hard to break his focus. Duke is not nippy with people or children at all. He would LOVE to do some recreational sheep herding if his new owners wanted to watch his amazing instincts in action.
